In this update we answer a few of the more burning questions like…what is it exactly?

How would you quickly describe Minis with Enemies?

  • Draw Something meets a Dungeons and Dragons-like adventure game. 

Is Minis with Enemies a Video Game or an actual Tabletop game?

  • It’s a video game for the PC, tablets and phones. 

Are there going to be physical minis that I can touch and hold?

  • Nope! 

Is Minis with Enemies going to be Fantasy, Sci-Fi or something else?

  • High Fantasy! 

What about future releases?

  • They can be anything we want! Zombies, Sci-fi, Cowboys…whatever. 

Will this game use existing rule sets, will it be a licensed product or is it its own brand?

  • Brand new rule set created in-house. 

Will players use Squads, Armies or Individual characters?

  • Each player will control 1 mini (unless they are playing with less than 4 others…then, a player can control up to a total of 4 minis) 

Will the minis be stat-based or cosmetic representations of a persistent character?

  • They will be stat-based. Each mini will have its own history, skills, level and tactics. 

Why do I need to collect minis?

  • You earn minis for finishing scenarios, so it is a built in aspect of the game. Some minis are Rare or Scarce and hard to get. You need minis of higher levels to access higher level scenarios. 

Can I play without collecting minis?

  • Yep, but by default, you will collect minis without trying. 

Will I be able to buy the exact minis I want or will I have to buy these “blister packs”?

  • Absolutely. It may be cheaper to buy a blister pack and hope you get the mini you want than say buying that ultra rare mini outright, but if you want to get straight to the point, we aren’t going to stop you. 

What will it be like to play the game?

  • A player will start a game as a Game Master and build a dungeon and invite up to 4 friends. 
  • The friends will all be notified and asked to join the game and choose their mini. 
  • The 1st player will make his moves and attacks and finish his round. 
  • The 2nd player will be notified that it is their turn. 
  • The 2nd player logs in from their PC, Mac, Tablet or Phone and make their moves and attacks. 
  • This happens until all 4 players have gone then the GM gets to take their turn and control all of the creatures in the dungeon. 
  • This happens until the objective has been completed or the GM has killed everyone. 
  • You can think of it like HeroQuest or Descent played like Words with Friends or DrawSomething.
